Welcome to Townsend Mercantile, a thoughtfully curated store embodying the tranquil essence of Townsend within the Smoky Mountains. Our selection features a range of home and kitchen goods, apothecary lines, as well as apparel and accessories. Inspired by the historical significance of Townsend Mercantile Co., a cherished establishment from the past that served as a general store for the Little River Railroad, I envisioned its revival. The roots of my husband's family homestead in Townsend trace back to the early 1800s. We hope that our store represents The Peaceful Side of the Smokies.
